According to the Vision Pro’s product page, Pre-orders will open at 5 PM Pacific Time on the 19th January 2024.

CNBS reported Apple Vision Pro will launch in the U.S. on February 2. We’ve to take note that, this is Apple’s first major product since 2014, The Vision Pro for $3,499.

It’s a bit ahead of its time and contains a ridiculous amount of technology, so the price is eye watering, and I probably won’t be buying one, but it’s also ambitious enough to be genuinely useful for some tasks rather than just a gimmick or gaming accessory.

Nilay Patel of The Verge said that every other headset is like having a low end Android tablet on your face, whereas the Vision Pro is like having a MacBook Pro on your face.

It’s pretty much what I’d expect from Apple. They didn’t rush to market to be “first”. Instead, they did some real pioneering work with things like eye tracking and the spatial user interface to make a best in class experience.

I think this type of device has a future, but it may take a few generations for the technology (both hardware and software) to mature. Hopefully, prices will eventually drop as well. For now, this looks like an early peek at an interesting future.

Can’t wait for you to preorder with 2gule on the 19th. It will be available starting at $3,499 beginning early Feb.
